Orion ADS Secure File Exchange provides SSL encrypted file transfer via the Internet using standard web browsers, and storage on Orion ADS servers.
There are no limitations on file size, making the service ideal for transfer of files too large to be transferred via e-mail, such as large image, digital video, and CAD model files.
Additionally, the service permits secure collaborative file storage and sharing amongst members of teams in a virtual environment, making it a useful forum for contractual deliverables as well as collaborative works in progress.
The service is based on Maxum Development Corps' RUMPUS application hosted on Orion ADS Servers.
The service is compatible with most standards based web browsers supporting the HTTPS protocol and operating in MS Windows, Mac OS X and Linux environments including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera.
The service requires no installation of applications, plug-ins, or certificates on the users end and provides a simple, user-friendly and fast interface. All that is required is a computer running a compatible browser, an internet connection, the service URL, and account authentication credentials.
