Security Information

• Servers hosting the Orion Aerospace & Defense Systems, Inc. (Orion ADS) Secure File Exchange Service are:
  • Owned and operated by Orion ADS.
    
  • Physically located on Orion ADS premises within the USA.
    
  • Physically restricted via two locked perimeters at a manned, monitored and geographically remote facility.
    
  • Access restricted to authorized Orion ADS Employees (all U.S. Citizens).
    
  • Located behind redundant firewalls and intrusion protection systems.
    
  • Backed up daily with on and off site storage.
    
  • Protected by UPS and back-up generator to maintain service in presence of power grid failures.
    
  • Filtered at time of upload and scanned daily by one or more anti-virus tools for viruses, worms, Trojan horses, spyware and other malware. Anti-Virus definitions are checked/updated daily. Affected files are automatically blocked/deleted/repaired (without notice to users).
    
• From Log-in page downstream, connections and data transfers (upload & download) are restricted to Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption (e.g. FTPS & HTTPS) using 2048 bit encryption keys. Unsecure connections and data transfer are not permitted.
• The service utilizes a signed SSL certificate for secure pages (log-in & downstream).
• The service requires User ID and Password authentication. Anonymous connections are not allowed (except for Drop Ship and File Request features when initiated by an Authorized Subsricber).
• The service usage is passively and actively monitored.
• Users must register for account access. Applications are reviewed for need-to-know/access, U.S. Citizenship, and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) coverage. Accounts must be renewed annually.
• Access permissions are restricted to specific data sets based upon need. Users cannot see, upload, or download to data sets unless they are permitted to.
• Users violating the terms and conditions of use are subject to revocation of access privileges with or without notice at the sole discretion of Orion ADS.
• Orion ADS actively and immediately investigates and takes appropriate action upon report of misuse of this service.
